ABSTRACT

For patients with chronic kidney disease, cardiovascular disease(CVD) is the leading cause of morbidity and death.Even though myocardial infarction (MI) is a contributing factor in nearly half of fatalities from cardiovascular (CV)causes, cardiac arrest and cardiac arrhythmias are thought to be responsible for around a quarter of all deaths reported in chronic kidney disease patients. Electrocardiograms (ECGs), which are straightforward and non-invasive, can identify people who are more susceptible to fatalities.100 patients with chronic kidney disease were included in this cross-sectional research. The patients were evaluated as per the history, general physical examination, systemic examination, Blood Urea, Serum Creatinine, Urine Routine, ECG and Echocardiography. The study shows 72% of patients had cardiovascular abnormalities identified by electrocardiography. Ischemia is seen in 16% of individuals and Left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) in 30% of patients. In 8 cases (16%), an abnormality in intraventricular conduction was discovered. In 10 individuals (10%), P mitrale was discovered. Six individuals (about 6%) had arrhythmia. The most often observed morphological anomaly is left ventricular hypertrophy. Electrocardiographically, myocardial ischemia and conduction disruption were more clearly visible.
