ABSTRACT

Anterior cruciate ligament tear and meniscal tear are the most common injuries which are associated with each other. It has an impact on knee stability which will cause impairment in balance. A 22-year female student met with a road traffic accident during which she had a sudden blow on her left knee which gave her immediate symptoms of pain and instability in the knee. She visited an orthopedician and he suggested for surgery but she didn’t undergo surgery and started physiotherapy treatment. In this patient, we mainly focus on proprioceptive training which was effective in improving balance and this will also give early recovery and improves the quality of life. Proprioceptive training shows a significant impact on patient’s recovery.
